Our Work

There are currently almost 11,000 children in Georgia's foster care system.

The existing system of support for youth in care has a success rate of only 5%.

That means less than 550 of these youth will thrive after turning 18 years old.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

The field is full of

state organizations and service providers,

are failing to produce
acceptable results.

This is not a problem we have to accept--there are solutions.

THE ENAY APPROACH

After eight years of work in the world of foster care services, policy, and advocacy, we've learned a lot of lessons.

Now we've set our sights on
transforming Georgia's foster care system.

Every young person in care can be set on a path to success, and we've proven it with a three-part model.

enay foundation 1
professional development

Professional development for caregivers and youth

We are the provider of choice for relevant, effective, and collaborative houseparent training at one of Georgia's most successful group homes, leading to healthier interactions with youth. When youth see adults as trusted allies, they stay connected to their support systems.
enay foundation 2
transition programs

Fully-mentored transition programs for students aging out of care

Since mid-2023, we've successfully recovered over $10k in entitlements for students who would have otherwise fallen through the cracks of the system. Most importantly, we provide ongoing coaching for finance and career planning to help students maximize their benefits and stay on course.
enay foundation 3
career pipelines

Foster care-to-career pipeline development

We have standing agreements with local employers who want to give our students their first careers, all while coached and supported with employability skills. This is the only real solution for youth who would otherwise return to negative environments and fall into the cycle of poverty and broken families.
south georgia

Now we're ready to scale our programs to impact our state, region by region, starting with South Georgia.

We're not out to do it alone.

We collaborate with other organizations to multiply the effects of our collective work, and help turn good intentions into outstanding outcomes.

YOUR HELP MAKES IT POSSIBLE

No child asks to enter foster care.
We owe it to them to make sure they leave
with the tools to break the cycle.

Join us in providing
transformational support to youth in Georgia's foster care system.
